Academic Support & Enrichment
The first part of our afternoon provides structure after the school day.
Students receive homework assistance, tutoring, reading and literacy activities, educational games, STEM opportunities, and enrichment designed to reinforce learning while encouraging curiosity and confidence.
Life Skills & Social-Emotional Learning
Learning doesn't stop with academics.
Through age-appropriate activities and everyday experiences, students practice communication, teamwork, problem-solving, decision-making, emotional awareness, responsibility, self-advocacy, and other skills that support success at school, at home, and in the community.
Socialization, Recreation & Fun
The second part of the afternoon gives children opportunities to connect and enjoy being kids.
Arts and crafts, sports, games, group activities, creative projects, clubs, community experiences, and special events provide natural opportunities to make friends, practice social skills, explore interests, and have fun together.
Spark serves children of all abilities, including students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Our goal is meaningful inclusion—not simply having children in the same room.
Students participate alongside their peers while activities, environments, and supports can be adapted to promote accessibility and participation. When additional assistance is appropriate, individualized support, including increased one-to-one support, may be incorporated based on student needs and program capacity.
We strive to create an environment where differences are understood, support is normalized, and every student has an opportunity to belong.
